Invitation to interview Port of Gothenburg CEO Magnus Karestedt on visit to Japan
We have the pleasure to invite you to interview Port of Gothenburg CEO Magnus Karestedt on his visit to Tokyo on the 3rd and 5th of April. The Port of Gothenburg is the largest port in Scandinavia and the gateway to the region for marine transports from the Asian region.
Topics that are currently on our agenda includes how the new trade deal between the EU and Japan will affect global shipping, as well as our preparations for Northern Sea Route opportunities, Brexit and how we see the Chinese BRI affecting us. The Port of Gothenburg is in the forefront of environmental initiatives and is generally known as the most sustainable large-scale port in the world. We also have a multi-billion investment program for new terminals, fairway deepening and more coming the next ten years.

The Port of Gothenburg is the largest port in the Nordic region. 30 per cent of Swedish foreign trade passes through the Port of Gothenburg as well as half of all container traffic.
