The Port of Gothenburg in the lead at COP27 when shipping is to be decarbonized

Three Port of Gothenburg projects for a green transformation of shipping have been selected by the Swedish government to constitute Sweden's contribution to the international initiative Green Shipping Challenge. The initiative is led by the US and Norway and was launched earlier this week at the COP27 climate summit in Sharm-el-Sheikh.

Gothenburg named the best logistics location in Sweden

The Gothenburg region tops the list when leading Swedish industry magazine Intelligent Logistik annually ranks Sweden's best logistics locations. As Sweden's largest cargo hub, the Port of Gothenburg plays a decisive role in the award according to the jury, who state that the port's infrastructure, investment program and growing cargo volumes form a good basis for future growth in the region.

The Port of Gothenburg strengthens cooperation with the tech industry

The Port of Gothenburg is involved as a partner in an innovation platform that was launched today. The platform will bring the port closer to the local and global tech industry and serve as an accelerator for digital development and sustainable logistics solutions. Through collaboration in the platform network, the port will be able to take further steps in both innovation and sustainability.
