Port of Gothenburg customers are increasingly satisfied with terminals and services at the port. This can be seen from the latest results of the Customer Satisfaction Index, a survey conducted at regular intervals at the Port of Gothenburg since 2003.
Swedish container transport is increasingly concentrated to the Nordic region's largest port. The Port of Gothenburg's market share of container freight to or from Swedish ports increased by three percentage points in 2021. The port also grew in relation to the largest ports in Europe.

Around 13.5 million cubic metres of spoils will need to be excavated and transported to a designated water area off the island of Vinga.
